Magenta_Iris
As the title suggests, Being in my hub/home mini ship, Causes my computer to start whirring like S#&$ creating immense noise and EXTREME heat, Being in ANY OTHER MAP, Does not cause this, And no matter what i do with my settings, It still rears its ugly head. 2Kawaii4U
The new update actually broke my computer's highest GPU temperature record from 68 *C (Crysis 3, ultra settings) is beaten by 74 *C (Warframe, max settings except bloom and colour correction turned off) While I afked in my ship for a few minutes. Draykes
I've noticed the heat problem aswell. :(
Zaayd
I'm just going to chip in and say I've noticed this. As far as I've seen no other map or tile-set in Warframe makes my fan run quite as loud as the liset, where it goes into crazy whir.
MillbrookWest
the liset seems to use 2 cores primarily. Core usage on my system is usually ~40% across 8 cores. In the liset, it's closer to 40% across 2 cores (ie 90%+ usage on each). Just seems to be the way multi-threading currently works. Try disabling it in the launcher and see if it helps any. Zaayd
Well, in my case it's my GPU fan going mad. My processor has a water cooler so I guess it could be heating up too but I haven't noticed. I'll leave HWmonitor on sometime and have a look.
