Not Getting Energy From Blue Orbs

I was on Xini, as Vauban in the 10th wave. I had my energy sucked by one of those Ancients, but there were plenty of blue orbs around. At the beginning of the 11th wave I started picking up blue orbs, which should have been enough to completely restore me - but it stayed at zero! My UI was clear, I was not in that time period after getting disrupted that you cannot pick up orbs (this was way after the "wave complete" dialogue) - so I should have been clear to refresh my energy. I lost the mission (failure) because I couldn't use Vauban's abilities due to this. Please look into this and fix, thanks.

 

EDIT: I was also running Energy Siphon Aura, so I should have been regenerating energy even without Blue Orbs...
