Title. According to the Wiki, this is a purely cosmetic effect, but I'm not sure whether it was actually intended to be cosmetic or whether it was just broken right from day one. Could anyone clarify? XD

 

 

ALSO

 

The blocking consumes stamina just like any other melee weapon. Is this supposed to happen, or is it a bug? You are just holding an energy shield instead of swinging a blade to deflect bullets one by one, after all.

If it's not a bug, could we do something like stamina reduction (or zero stamina cost altogether? XD) for the blocking?

neither of those are bugs. Just here for clarification.

 

There are currently no plans for reducing the block stamina cost with Aegis either, unfortunately. And weapons will always cost stamina to block, there will likely never be one that can block for no stamina. You can reduce the cost, but not void it altogether.
