Castanas And Dual Ichors + Hysteria

First question: Why does Castanas still deals Electricity damage if I modded them and their base and ONLY type of damage is Radiation?

Second: Why I couldnt deal any damage to Venomous Eximus with my Dual Ichors with Corrosive and Cold damage installed? I tried to kill them with Valkyr's Hysteria but I couldnt deal any damage again. I thought Hysteria takes only the Crit Chance and the Damage Multiplier from the melee weapon, but if this happens why I couldnt deal any damage using Hysteria against the same Venomous Eximus?

2. Because apparently, Eximi with elemental thingies (In your case, venomous) gain a complete immunity to said damage type, regardless if it's a combo, apparently.

So, the Venomous Eximus is immune to all type of damage except for Poison, or he is immune only to Poison?

Immune to Toxin damage, and all elemental combos that include Toxin.

Well this explains why I was able to kill Caustic Eximus (no heat damage installed) and Venomous was immune but I also had Cold damage installed and still no damage.
