Kubrow Imprints

I am about to get my Kubrow, I have everything (thanks to a friend of mine), and when I am about to start the Incubation, it asks me if I have any imprints, and I have a few questions about imprints.

 

1.  What are imprents? 

 

2.  What do Imprints do to your Kubrow?

 

3.  How do you acquire imprints?

1: genetic templates, virgin ones obtainable from market

 

2: use them to get a specific kubrow type

 

3: trade with others that have type you wish, use them when you raise a new kubrow type

You can scan a full grown kubrow twice to get one imprint each time.

Imprint influence the: Breed, fur pattern, body build, and fur colors (both base and pattern color)

imprints can be traded with others to get rare looking kubrow/specific kubrow breeds.

Not quit sure about the kubrow TYPE (raska, sunika etc.) since i had 2 sunika imprints and got a raska. This was before the patch that removed recessiv genes though.

the new patch removed the chance from recessive genes, so you should be ok if you do it again now
