Warframe Launcher Not Responding Now I Have To Download 4.7 Gigs?

I played the game fine just a few hours ago and now it was not responding.... i tried to verify game cache or w/e its called through steam and now its updating 4.7 gigs wut?

i have not touched my steam folder or anything

Yeah i had it to it said i had two games running i have to DL the whole thing again.

with each download the game files fragment more. steam tries to download the whole thing as a package instead of lots of tiny pieces to prevent this. just let it happen

Don't verify game cache through Steam. Detecting a wrong file will result in the whole game being download again. This is not a recent issue, it's from the past already.

 

Verify through the actual launcher, with the cog icon. This is why Steam can be obtrusive for playing Warframe. I had to repeat that process 2 or 3 times.

yeah reason why i went through steam was because the warframe launcher had frozen up on me a few times and that verifier was impossible to reach
