Vauban Vortex No Dmg With Explosiv Weapons

hi   today i report a  bug  from vauban wehn i  make   the vortex  and it grap  mobs(infestet) and  i shot  with explosiv weapons(Penta Ogris Castanas) i make 90% lower dmg!  wehn i make bastil is  all ok with the dmg

yeah, noticed it too, don t know if it s a bug or planned by DE (combination vortex + area weapons was so powerful in infested defs), you should post this in the U14 bugs megathread though

Maybe thats part of a nerf for Vauban would make since cus you can just sit with a orgis or penta and never lose in Infested defs haha.

Maybe it was because there was an ancient nearby/in the vortex?

When I encountered this I assumed it was the ancient healer's damage resist aura on normal enemies with the ancient healers taking no damage from explosive weapons and certain abilities.

If there was an Ancient Disrupter in that Vortex, that's the source of your problem. Ancient Disrupters now project an aura that makes Infested around them extremely resistant to radial (e.g. explosive) damage, as well as damage from Warframe powers (not that Vortex damage is that significant). Ancient Healers also have a damage reduction aura that applies to all damage, although it's less steep.

That isn’t the case I have seen this too. If you shoot the instant vortex ends everything dies in one shot. But you can dump an entire magazine of formad ogris into a low to mid lvl vortex ball with little results. I also took my Boar into the same mission and was able to destroy infested while they were in the ball so it seems to only affect explosive weapons.
