In the wake of the recent ddos issue, I think warframe should have a game status section on the website and game to indicate if either or both are working appropriately and if not have a note about whats not working. Maybe put it in the game login screen and at the front of the Warframe home site so the users have an idea the game might not work at that time. However, it'd only ever say, can connect, can't connect, and we can usually figure that out ourselves. So I don't know.
