Melee Weapon Channeling

I was messing around with my arsenal last night and I equipped the Dakra prime. I changed the colors a little and went on my way. After that though while I was in the player ship the weapon had a trail of light like I was channeling it. I entered a mission and thought it would go away but in the mission as well the weapon had a trail of light following it. When I finished the mission and returned to the player ship, nothing had changed. I changed to another melee weapon, the nikana, but the trail of light was still there. That was last night and it still hasn't gone away since then. It's getting pretty annoying lol.

 

Has this happened to anyone else?

Options -> display -> turn constant weapon trail off

 

If it's off and it still does it, I don't know what to do.
