Question

What is the ebst way to fight them?

I found out my maxed out my Gorgon (without catalyst) makes around 30 dmg per hit and it takes a huge load of bullets to just kill one... Would the HEK be a more appropriate weapon (or maybe another one?)

Regarding the new weapons from the update, the Dual Ether http://warframe.wikia.com/wiki/Dual_Ether and the Ether Daggers http://warframe.wikia.com/wiki/Ether_Daggers seem to have a lot of success.

But with the Ether daggers making 3 hits in a row, the DPS seems even higher than the fragor, what do you think`?

If this is correct Im gonna buy those daggers  and forget about the Fragor LOL

Remember that the daggers and swords are melee weapons, sometimes it's ill-advised to fight in melee against that level mobs.

HEK currently deals a buttload of damage and with mods seems the best way to quickly dispose of enemies. However, heavy flame modded ethers could possibly be a great alternative if a GRAM/FRAGOR isn't your thing.

Way to be specific. I have no idea what mobs you're talking about besides the level number.

What I think you're thinking about, and I could be wrong, are high level heavy infested. The way to combat them is by using the proper mods - multishot, armor piercing and fire being the core ones behind any anti-heavy infestation build.

Daggers have passive armor piercing, which is why they are extremely effective against those heavies which have mucho armor. But any melee weapon's charge attack already ignores armor, so it doesn't matter what you go for unless you have bad charge dmg and haven't modded properly for normal attacks. But that's a whole 'nother topic.
