Twin Vipers And Damage !

I recently got Twin Vipers and been leveling it up.

So currently am using 90% Max ammo , 100% Multishot and 100% damage Mods on it.

 

Today i just got curious about its damage and stuff and i tried to test it.

 

The thing i found out was... It does only 32 damage on corpus, i tested it in an Alert in Mercury, those corpus guys where level 2 or something.

 

Isnt it supposed to be (16+16)X2 = 64 damage ? Does the corpus crewmen have any armor ? Mine is only doing 32 damage like it doesnt have multishot or the damage mod !

 

 

Any idea why this is happening ?

corpus crewman have armor on their heads

The head armor reduces normal damage to 0.  Corpus crewmen do have a little defense against normal damage everywhere else.  The wiki says 19% resistance.

erm, you get an additional bullet from multishot. why do you think that'd display as double damage?

Multishot doesn't display a larger damage number, it simply shoots a second bullet. With a gun that fires as fast as the Twin Vipers it could be a bit of a challenge to pick out that extra bullet, but rest assured that it's there.

Prior to damage reduction, yes it is, even more when rounds crit.
