notlamprey
As is often the case with threads I make, "title." I'm talking about the NoScript addon for Firefox, which allows you to globally deny and selectively allow websites you visit to run first and third-party scripts. I've found it even more useful than my antivirus stuff, honestly. It goes further than that. For websites I visit often, NoScript will show me any changes to the list of scripts that site is trying to run. For example, I can say that the Warframe forums are now running scripts from a site that calls itself "hwcdn.net." Previously, it was getting the same functionality from scripts run through cloudfront.net. Ready your foil hats, mentlegen. edit: NoScript picked up this change some time in the last 24 hours; everything looks safe. Here's the safe browsing diagnostic page for anyone interested: http://google.com/safebrowsing/diagnostic?site=hwcdn.net/ Edited August 15, 2014 by notlamprey
