Feedback After A Few Days Of Playtime

So I've been playing this game for a while now, even got a friend to play it with to deal with some of the tougher missions until my gear is high enough to give me a survival chance, even tho it's half-across-the-globe with sizable ping.

I generally like the game, it's fluidity and style is great, but there's also a few things I did not really like all that much, and I want to put them all together here rather than making several threads about them in their respective sections.

1. Wall Runs / Wall Climbs / Wall Flips

could need some improvements in regards of whether or not the Warframe climbs up or does a backflip off the wall. In the first Survival Mission against the Corpus, as example, there are arches over the target that can be run up, but 4 out of 5 times, the character will flip off the pillar instead of just grabbing on and pulling him/herself up.

2. Railings blocking jumps.

One of the things you notice as soon as you start the game is that when you stand right against a wall that has a bit of railing on it, your jump is blocked, you will only hop for a few centimeter before falling down. That colission seems rather awkward and breaks combat flow if you decide to quickly jump up to get out of the line of fire or chase down an enemy.

3. Cowardly Survival Mobs.

This happened so far every time me and my friend played one of the defense missions. The last few mobs will hide in some remote location while you and your team have to look through every nook and cranny to find these guys and finally finish the wave.

4. Having to take mods out in order to upgrade them.

Minor, but it is still rather awkward and unintuitive. Should just lock them out of fusion-materials with a "currently equipped" message and maybe a different color; and when you try to upgrade them past your suit's limits, it warns you of that.

5. Inventory Capacity: Warframes and Weapons

This is one thing my friend talked to me about, which is something I do not really appreciate. Limiting people to 2 Warframes unless they expand their inventory space via platinum, having to dispose of their leveled frames when they want to try something new. No, please don't go this way. Limiting the space for warframes is not an inconvenience. It's a harnstring. Cash Shops are supposed to be about vanity and convenience (XP / credit boosters, faster access to gear, etc.), that's fine. Weapon limit is higher, but still kinda "eh" in my book. If you allowed inventory expansions to be bought for ingame credits (or having no limit for the Warframes, at least), that would obviously be way cooler of you. This is especially true since currently it is a MESS trying to buy platinum or get a founder pack.

6. Payment Options.

Big impact for me since I want to try the other warframes out but I'm simply unable because I made my account prior to the game being added to Steam, and your payment service provider is the biggest PoS i've seen in years. Even making an account gives you a big, fat "System Error" message. And even after jumping through some hoops and finishing to set the bloody thing up, I still get "Payment Rejected" from your side. I only have Paypal to pay you with, and each time it immediately rejects the payment. That REALLY needs to be fixed.

I COULD try to make a new account via Steam, but I still would have liked to have my progress and items with me. Doubt the devs do house visits to transfer our stuff from a borked account to a working one.

Even with those things in consideration, I still think the game is great fun and totally would recommend it to all my friends once it goes out of beta.

Alright here is my thoughts:

1: That could use some improvements. But after some experience in the game you would start to know which walls are easier to climb up/backflip off and I can say I do it properly 60-65% of the time (maybe with some more experience I could do better)

3: Yeah that is really annoying... though enemy radar is very helpful here. But I do agree that that should be fixed

4: I didn't find that really annoying at first but then after you get 5 pages + of mods the whole fusion system needs to be improved. Gets really annoying when have to go through different pages to select mods to fuse even if you use the filters at the bottom.

5: Well I think they could keep the expansion of warframe slots limited to platinum users but I think it would be better if the basic warframe inventory could hold 3 warframes and then you get 1 more warframe slot for each level up.

Ahhh, levels. I forgot about them. Yeah, that seems to be another possibility. "Want more Warframes? Level up! ...or take the easy route and give me a dollar."

1, 2, 3, and 4 I agree with completely. Good idea for fusing mods that are equipped, and the jumping mechanics are cool but need some polish.

I have no opinion on 6, as a Steam player I just used it for buying.

I feel your pain on 5, but I don't think it'd be a good idea to give out free slots. I have a feeling that the cheap 20-plat and 12-plat slot purchases are likely to be a big chunk of Warframe's income. That, colors, and catalysts are all that I'm inclined to buy and I imagine there are plenty of others that feel the same way. Warframes are too expensive to buy(IMO), and skipping out on getting them manually just seems like cheating yourself out of play time.
