Cold Mod Set

Are these event mods out yet? I would like to start playing again to collect these, but I don't want to update without knowing for sure

Well yes the current event is giving them as the half way reward.

Right now about 2 days and 12 hours. Do the Europa mission, you can get the 3K with a team in about 30-45 mins and the gets you the mods and the Latron Wraith (which is awesome).

To clarify for above, you only need 1,000 for these mods.

The 1,000 must be earned within one mission, not toal.

 

The event has three nodes that unlock after completing each one. You can earn your 1,000 on the first node (earth) if you like, or the second (Phobos), but the final node (Europa) is the easiest, as you get points faster there. If you bring gear capable of doing T3 void, set up for Corpus, to Europa you should get the full 3,000 for all rewards without too much trouble, as long as you stay on target and keep doing the objective.
