Sound Quake - Continuity And Focus Have Any Effect?

I think it doesn't... I got my Banshee to 30 today and used these mods in her. My Sound Quake is lvl 2/3, but I got maxed continuity and focus, and she still dealt low damage for a relatively low duration.


Shame, that move has a lot of potential. Hope it gets some love soon.

I have just went and tested that (and a few other things).

- Sound Quake does 6-4 ticks per enemy, the further from you, the lower

- Damage is dealt at a moving circular front originating from the player

- Damage is affected by enemy armor and can headshot (which causes increased damage sometimes)

- Damage is NOT affected by Focus mod (with or without +20% Focus mod Sound Quake did 50 damage per tick on level 1 Ancients)

- Sound Quake is NOT affected by Continuity mod (with or without +20% Continuity mod Sound Quake did the same number of ticks over the same channel time). Channel time is constant at about 9 seconds from button press till the frame starts getting up.

Additionally tested: Sonic Boom, Sonar.

- Sonic Boom is NOT affected by Focus mod (with or without +20% Focus mod Sonic Boom left a level 2 Charger with about 1-3 percent of health after 3 uses of Sonic Boom)

- Sonar is NOT affected by Focus mod (with or without +20% Focus mod Sonar caused precisely 4 times the normal weapon damage on the highlighted area)

Conclusion:

Currently, NONE of Banshee's abilities are affected by Focus mod.
