Inviting People Crashes The Ui/chat

Keep trying to Host ANY Tower mission, EVERY TIME I try inviting 1 or 2 people, the UI stops responding.  Esc doesn't work, nothing does, chat seems to be frozen, only thing I can do is Alt+F4 out!  This has happened to me 17 times today alone... Just tried inviting clan/alliance members to test it out after attempting to host around 10 times.  

I've tried EVERYTHING, defrag, verify, even a complete re-install... It's quite vexing to not play any Towers that I can host or use my Keys!

 

EDIT:  When it messes up, it also thinks my cursor is DOWN from where it actually is.  It's always below the object I'm trying to click, never above, to either side, or any angle... no idea where to go with that  //  Sometimes happens with FULL UI, other times ONLY happens with the chat window.  That is until it screws up and the entire chat box has frozen, until I Alt+F4
