Heavenus
Hey guys! l:D I was wondering if there is any control panel settings that would allow full detail of Warframe on my pc. I don't mind it losing FPS but I was wondering what are the best tweaks I can do with the control panel besides setting the resolution to 1080x1920. Any ideas? crazy8z
Once you have all the in-game settings turned up, I'm not sure what you'd do in the Nvidia control panel. Maybe more/higher anti-aliasing? But there's also SweetFX, which I don't have experience with, however it should add some pleasant visuals at the cost of a few fps. Heavenus
Me too that's why I'm curious to know if there's anymore settings to sharpen the image or more HD even though there's no such thing but basically recommended settings for a more sharper, more hd like setting XD I'll give it a shot another time though :)
MillbrookWest
You can force a higher screen res via your control panel. Your monitor will downsample the image when it gets it, effectively giving you Super-sampling. In the CP: In the "Display" section, select the "change resolution" option, then click the "Customise" button. This will bring up a config window. In here don't mess with anything to do with the monitor, just change the resolution to something bigger than your what your display outputs. For 1920x1200p (16:10) the next bump up would be 2560x1600. IIRC this should make the option available in-game too, so when you're using the ingame option menu the resolution you just put in should show up (might need to restart PC). So you can leave the 'default' at whatever your screen res is and only enable the higher res in the games you feel you can get away with. NOTE: It goes without saying, but make sure you don't mess with your montior refresh times, timings etc. ONLY adjust the resolution unless you know what you are doing to your monitor. But yeah, what will happen is your GPU will send a 2560x1600 image to your monitor, which will then downsample that image to 1920x1200. As for other CP settings, you might try the "threaded optimization" option....though no one (probably no even Nvidia) know what it does outside it's description..... Heavenus
But the thing I don't get is how do I bump it up to that value? do I press customize I get a list PC 720x576 at 60hz(32bit) 720x576 at 56hz (32bit) 640x480 at 60hz(32 bit) 640x480 at 56hz(32 bit) Then I have these options - Show 8 and 16 bit resolutions -enable resolutions not exposed by the display Then the last one -Create custom resolution
MillbrookWest
!!Screen resolutions as bottom of Post!! If your screen displays the resolution fine (also without any black bars), select "Accept" Then continue: If the resolution you just set shows up here select the "Native" resolution and keep that as default. You don't need to supersample your OS Desktop, it will make text tiny and illegible. Instead, head in-game and select the resolution there. Resolutions and Ratios: 4:3 640x480 800x600 1024x768 1280x960 1280x1024 1600x1200 2048x1536 16:9 640x360 960x540 1024x576 1280x720 1366x768 1600x900 1920x1080 2560x1440 16:10 640x400 960x600 1024x640 1280x800 1440x800 1680x1050 1920x1200 2560x1600 Edited September 21, 2014 by MillbrookWest
