Question

Greetings,

I just would like some tips about armor pierce mods. I have understand they are really effective on normal weapons against armored and heavy armored target like gringeer, ancients and boss.

My question is : Does it add some bonus damage against those enemies when applied on weapons which has innate armore piercing like Abotlo, boltor, Dualether autoattack (my current set)

Thanks !)

:)

Armor Piercing is considered a Elemental status in Warframe.

If you have FANG (innate piercing) and you add Sundering Strike (melee piercing) you will have 3 different damage.

1st Damage: Non-elemental Damage

2nd Damage: Elemental Damage - Innate Armor Piercing

3rd Damage: Elemental Damage - Sundering Strike Damage

Um, actually, you'll only see 2 different damage types;

AP damage is dealt first, =to the modified weapon damage * mod %age

then normal damage is dealt, =to the modified weapon damage.

There is no non-elemental damage thats seperate from the innate armor piercing damage, they're one and the same.

Oh, ok thanks! SO the mod is still good with innate armor piercing weapon if i undurstand well!

Yep, its great, easily the best +elemental damage mod.
