Fps Camera Angle?

Just a thought, how would you feel about a FPS camera being linked to the "H" key, just for those moments when you need a gun spree?

 

For example you commiting to doing a wall run/anything pakur would zoom you out.

You mean have an option to shift your view into first person? I don't think it's a good idea.

already suggested, no need for FPS camera

however I suggested a modern f2p shooter game using great EVOLUTION engine

good idea but i dont think any pro's would use it because

 

-Cant look past corners

-cant see anything in mobs

-FOV!!!!!!!!!!

Such a feature wouldnt bring anything...

Besides your restricted view and enemies kick your a*** from behind and you dont even know it...

Stuff like that works for normal shooters, but not in a game where enemies spawn almost in every corner and every room.

FPS view in this game would bring the same advantages/disadvantes it brings in a racing game.

 

Cons:

 

Everything mentioned in this thread is a con, you're all right. It would be a S#&$show from gameplay perspective.

 

Pros:

 

It would bring a whole new level of immersion, and slamming into S#&$ with your melee weapons, doing flips, sliding etc would all feel pretty cool from a first person perspective, the same way a rollover accident in a racing game is way more immersive when the camera is in the driver's seat.
