Loswaith Posted October 22, 2014 Share Posted October 22, 2014 On joining an alert I and the group (or the group already) end up in the default mission for the node that the alert is on rather than the alert itself. It doesnt seem to matter whether it is a PuG or premade groups. Or who the host may be (as I'm rarely the host myself). It doesnt seem planet specifc either. Ptylerdactyl Posted October 22, 2014 Share Posted October 22, 2014 true, i used to be able to do alerts with friends after i've already done them. but now if i'm in the group and they select it it will default to doing the regular node instead of the alert one. the only work around we got was one person starting it, loading in and then inviting everyone. Previously you could join friends and you wouldn't get the reward again anyway. Telling people to solo it in what is meant to be a multi-player game is kind defeating the point. There are enough issues preventing friends grouping up in missions already (many intentonally added because players felt the need to exploit the game).
