Lip Animations At Close Range Could Be More Detailed

Simply opening and closing the mouth may have been enough when it was on a small window on the side, but now that the speaker's head takes the entire screen it starts looking uncanny. I doubt there is a separate animation for every possible dialogue, so there must be some algorythm for deciding mouth movement. Adding a different mouth movement for each vowel, instead of the same movement for all vowels, could work.

Might not be as new as you think, U12 was more than 8 months ago.

 

Vanilla Warframe launched on October 25th 2012, so we have roughly 16 months of still images and 8 months of animated transmissions, that makes 1/3rd of Warframe's history that has them.
