Finishing Mars Boss But Not Getting Rewards

Hi guys, i'm fairly new to this game but i have had some friends helping me by ferrying me to locations to unlock things.

 

Recently they helped me get to the Mars boss fight and defeat him and get to extraction only to find that i hadn't received the rewards for killing Nef Anyo (edited as i got the name wrong). So no new nav segment, blueprint or resources earned during mission etc.  This happened 3 times.

 

We thought that maybe it was because i hadn't unlocked the fight and had just been ferried there. So today was spent unlocking all the nodes to the boss then fighting him again. Everything worked great until the boss fight and once again i killed Nef Anyo and got to extraction only to find after the mission i haven't received the rewards for doing so and my nav map still shows that i haven't completed the mission.

 

I have sent a support ticket in but was wondering if any of you guys here have any clue why this is happening as i'm about ready to uninstall from disgust.

firstly, you're sure this is Mars? Vay Hek is NOT the Mars boss, he's a 'secret' boss that requires a tedious, long set of missions to build a key required to find him before you can battle him, a battle that takes place on Earth. Nef Anyo is the Mars Boss, aka Derp Anyo.

 

now if it was a case of not 'unlocking' the node, then the most obvious reason is you're not hosting. you have to be the host for it to unlock on your map, and this isn't explained in the game very well.

 

BUT taken you're getting nothing at all, then it's a glitch. reset, restart, and send a support ticket with any crash reports and Dxdiag etc.

my bad, I got the name wrong. It is Nef Anyo. Like i said, pretty new to this.

 

Also the last two times i was hosting the map.

 

I have sent a support ticket as you suggest. The first two times there were crashes but after that i've been able to continue on to another game. Each time i've checked the last mission results screen and it never shows that mission being done just the one i've done before it.

that's definitely an error, and one i've seen before. it looks a connection error between the players and server and happens when you've got a bad connection over the net in general or with the server.

sometimes it does save your progress, it just doesn't show it till you re-log in.
