Ok spy mission for Loki Helmet np, mid way thru it changes to rescue sucks but hey will be worth it... Finish spy part rescue hostage from cell, then it sends me thru vents, damn hostage gets stuck and just spins in circle inside room and won't go into vent or leave room. After fighting with it for time, nothing guy won't budge and bam mission fail.

 

Very disappointing, i absolutely hate rescue missions for that reason hostage pathing is so bad.

The hostage doesn't need to be with you at extraction. getting the hostage stuck is a really good way to finish those missions.

 

when/if a hostage gets stuck:

1. kill all enemies in the room

2. run like hell to extraction

I thought it was ok to go to the end without him/her aswell. Screenshot buggy stuff and post it mate and they tend to fix stuff pretty quick so it doesnt happen to others or you again.

I've found that staying in the "jail" room for a while without opening any doors is the best way to play rescue missions. After a minute the Lotus just tells you the hostage has been found, the green dot appears on the map and you can go and get to extraction without worrying about the unbelievably stupid and useless hostage!
