We love the hack and slash element of Warframe, killing waves of enemies after waves just for the fun of it, we enjoy collecting and working for loot and mastery ranks, we are open to competitive play (like ladders), we love our Stealth from time to time (some of us more often than others, especially me), we are Veterans that know the strings, have a complete Dojo with full researches, are open to suggestions and clan voting, have our own page for organising events and helping each other on game content, and also enjoy the idea of our members having the freedom they desire to do whatever they want: No required log in schedules or times, no pressure on any event, activity, or anything else for that matter.

 

We simply like to have fun and enjoy the game. We are not a farming rush to objective clan, and we are here to build up a Shadow Clan with members that reflect the fun factor of our mentality. We want to be a team, a Tenno Family, and searching for like minded players to make Public Matchmaking obsolete for all of us, once and for all.

We are the Zen Hoplites, a veteran Ghost Clan that has been around since Warframe launched on Open Beta, and we are recruiting to become a full scale Ghost Clan and then move on into a Shadow Clan and remain as such from there on.

The first and most important thing to this clan is having fun.

 

We are not here with a looting and farming mmo fever, however, we do not shy from getting what we want either and are of course and above all a team. You want a part, a blueprint, or anything the team can help with? Then we are a team and here to help. So long as it does not become simply the only interest in the game.

 

Our members are free to pursue whatever course of gameplay they see fit of course, like I said, no strings attached, however to be realistic there are a few things frowned upon. This could be seen as the single string attached.

 

Not having fun, is frowned upon.

 

We do not aim at becoming a clan who's gameplay simply exists for one purpose and one purpose alone, that being, collecting every single loot the game has to offer. Members can of course be as loot-happy as they want to be, so long as it is not their main concern with regards to the interaction they have with the rest of the team. Joining us expecting we will all go constantly on farming runs day in day out is what is frowned upon.

 

We see everything as a measure of fun, so we would like to have members that enjoy a range of aspects to the game. One example as mentioned? Stealth.

 

Stealth being itself a gameplay style that few warm up to in the general public of Warframe, as we have all experienced time and time again in Public Matchmaking, most players are here to simply sprint from one objective to another and rush-kill whatever they can. We are looking for fun. People that will enjoy the hack and slash side of things on long extensive Survival Missions just for the sake of killing things, or people that will enjoy a slow stealthy run among friends, without meaning that we do not cater to loot-chasing as well with occasional "rush to objective" runs simply to get our hands on something we might want.

 

All these aspects are to be enjoyed and experienced in our clan, and it is important to us that we all indeed partake or enjoy in all these from time to time, and not stick to one tiring experience again and again.

 

The main reason I am pointing this out is of course to set some ground rules for those we will recruit, but most important of all, so that those that might want to be recruited that share the same thinking as us, can feel comfortable in a clan that indeed sees these things as important. We want you to be the kind of person that wants to be a part of this gameplay mentality because it simply will help us all together to build a clan with the same goal and above all, a large fun factor.

 

With regards to conduct, we do not force anything on anyone, and we are not here to jump on each other and argue or what have you. These are obviously common sense and the likes of conduct every clan aspires to.

 

You are of a mind to have fun? Then we are here to provide a home for you to do just that... Have fun! And that means, we all are entitled to enjoy what we want, when we want, without forcing on each other login times and hours, etc. This does not mean that we will accept inactive players however. The core to a functioning clan is its activeness. We don't have to be all always online, and taking breaks of days or even weeks at times can be common, as long as they are not permanent or repeating large breaks, thus resulting in a clan that ends up being online all together only once a month.

 

We are here to all together take the Public Matchmaking element of Warframe out of Warframe, so that we can have enough people in our team to run simultaneous tasks to enjoy themselves in games with like minded people. The goal is for us at a point to see each other all simply as friends.

 

2) WHAT WE PROVIDE

 

Our Dojo at the moment is 100% complete with regards to all important aspects, and is only lacking what can be deemed as something the Clan can vote on if we should have or not (things like the obstacle coarse, etc). Although we have at one point or another had everything built (including for example the Obstacle Coarse) the last rebuild to the Dojo to make it appealing and welcoming saw some things to be left out for now.

 

Everything else is 100% complete.

 

All labs, all researches (save but 1 weapon if my memory serves me well), equipped with a deuling room for some 1 on 1 fun if one wants, access to Rails for possibly PvP in the future for those that are interested, and anything else they might want.

 

With regards to Dojo layouts, it follows the idea of a welcoming stay so it can feel like our home, as we just recently equipped it with teleporters to all rooms for easy access, and have enough space to build so much more in it (including a shadow barracks to enter our Shadow Clan Phase).

All members will be required to become a part of it with purpose of us possibly communicating outside the game with each other on strategies, ideas for the clans direction, things we might want done, and above all voting for little events we might like to hold with each other. We ourselves are the ones that add the fun into everything, so why not take advantage of it and simply do just that?

 

There will be polls for next clan-wide event that we might want to participate in, a section for us to upload our YouTube videos of tutorials or gameplay within our clan, etc.

 

We provide the chance for Stealth Gameplay as well. I stress this as it is hard sometimes to find like minded players to simply enjoy such aspects of the game. However this is not the main purpose of the clan neither is it the only thing the clan will partake in. It is simply something we like to enjoy from time to time, and would love to provide a place for that to players looking for the same kind of play.

 

Lastly, we are going to take a vote at some point between each other and see if we are at all interested in other forms of social pages for our clan as well. That being twitter or facebook pages, in the case that this might perhaps make it even easier for some members to keep track of things with regards to the clan.

 

We do not have a voice-chat channel, however  this isn't entirely a necessity and hence for the time being something we have skipped on, as the game itself provides for voice-over during the missions themselves, making for a more stable approach most of the time.

 

3) OUR GOALS

 

As if it wasn't obvious already, our goal is to have fun :P

 

We are aiming at becoming a small clan, a Shadow Clan of maximum 30 members. We want to keep our community nice and small, we want to have the opportunity to get to know each other, to bond, and to learn who is who, rather than end up in a clan of many faces and smaller groups of friends.

 

We aim at creating some healthy alliances in the future, and who knows, if all goes well we can create sister shadow clans as well and form alliances between each other, expanding our horizons and the people we play with, yet keeping our community small like a home none the less.

 

We want to achieve an environment that can provide for all the following gameplay styles:

 

Assault and Hack and Slash gameplay just for the sake of having fun.

Stealth gameplay runs.

Healthy farming and looting.

PvP gameplay (if voted on)

 

We want to provide it all, without one being a bigger focus than another as a general approach in the clan, and at the same time create no restrictions to the gameplay style and taste that our members will have.

 

Our ordinary day to day experience could then be summed up by people doing all the above, whilst small clan-organised events would take place were we might all go out to simply enjoy a bunch of stealth runs and get it out of our system, or try our luck on ladders and rank up on as many kills as we can, or organise events to get our hands on the newest or best of loot in the game, etc. The options are endless, so long as we (you guessed it) are here to have fun ;)

p.s, we are currently at 4 members and some of us have been the core of this clan for almost 2 years now, with our last member being "1 year old" in our clan. There are only about 5 or 6 slots at this very moment. Once filled, we will build our Shadow Barracks and increase our capacity to hold up to another 20 members, coming up to 26 new and 4 old.

 

We are obviously all veterans in the clan, some of us up to even Mastery Rank 17, however we do not require you to be necessarily a Veteran to join. Newcomers are welcome. We have set our requirements to enter at Mastery Rank 4 not as a strict measure to go by, but as a means to try and make sure we will take on players that know what they want in this game and that they would like to stay here.

We are also going to make a Clan Emblem at some point. Members are welcome to provide ideas for it if we haven't got around to it by the time they join. Having an experience in Digital Art and 3D, preferably I will set out to design it, unless a new member comes along with the same skills, that is also fine.
