This game is a completionist grindfest with some killing things... why would you want to ruin that by re-introducing L cores?

The content in most games are accessible to the majority of the playerbase, not the minority percentile that spend every waking moment grinding and farming.

 

In most loot game the top loot is not something most people have.

To get more loot, to increase your rank to kill faster/better to get more loot to increase further..

 

Warframe doesn't have a endgame, all it has is the journey. If you skip past the journey you'll notice.. there's nothing else there.

 

That's the reason. Once you have everything, have it maxed, have it tricked out.. What is there? You completed the journey.

It does seem quite excessive.

These should be 5-rank-mods that start where the basic ones are maxed. Make them more expensive if it's necessary, but 500+ R5s is insane. Even as a long term objective.
