Navigation Menu Keeps Switching To Last Played

I've been having this for a few days now, it only became a big problem today.

 

Normally it just throws me into the last mission I've played as soon as I interact with the navigation console or select Navigation through the menu, it's pretty annoying, slowing down the game that is already slowed down because of the new design.

 

Now to the bigger problem, game somehow "failed to create session" the first time I tried to join a PUG, I didn't even opt to host, just got an error message straight away, and then it would keep going back to that error popup message as soon as I click navigation every single time.

Extremely annoying 'feature'. Hoping this gets fixed.

 

Apparently it's an option in the settings.

Same, it is driving me insane. I thought something was wrong with my keyboard or mouse.

Just had a look but.. where exactly is this option, what's it called? can't seem to find it anywhere...
