DCypherThis13 Posted January 4, 2015 Share Posted January 4, 2015 (edited) The key is technically spent as soon as you enter the mission. It doesn't matter if you complete the run, abort of fail. Also, the key does not get spent, unless you start the mission. In defense's case, if anyone runs towards the blue circle and starts the waves, then the key is spent.
