Doriando77
the old shell casing model is dull. can it be updated please? and maybe have them hit the ground instead of passing through the floor.
Vargras
I see no point in updating something that is seen for a fraction of a second and doesn't even apply to all weapons.
DeusInsania
the old shell casing model is dull. can it be updated please? and maybe have them hit the ground instead of passing through the floor. no because that would add unnecessary items to render and stuff thus bogging down an already intensive game. vaugahn
Guys, we have varying graphics settings. They can just make it so shell casings aren't rendered when you have particles set to low or something. And it's not like there isn't precedent for this. Look at Soma/Prime magazines after you eject them.
NinjaSnipe11
Why are people even arguing this? There already is a model and it is rendered, why not change it? It's not going to make a difference.

Vanadium
I can't believe people are just saying "Nope". Obviously, none of you guys have played CS (any form of it), and how much effort the player base expends to make the game more immersive and just plain cool. That's all the OP wants. So much party-pooping in here. Guys, we have varying graphics settings. They can just make it so shell casings aren't rendered when you have particles set to low or something. And it's not like there isn't precedent for this. Look at Soma/Prime magazines after you eject them. ^This. Lotus forbid bullets casings break your game, I'm sure DE will put in an option to turn them off. Doubt it's going to happen, though.
