How are you going to make a player target one person on the team? What would be the reward?

 

I shall now rephrase the question in a more relatable manner:

 

"How do your boss at work make sure you do what he wants you to do?"

 

Answer:

 

Incentive/penalization mechanism.

 

Penalization is negative incentive so it's same issue.

 

Difficulty comes in determining how much is enough. This would mean determining what to give and how much.

 

By the way, do consider the availability to play this mode in itself to already be an incentive to the Pro-PVPers. There is thus actually little need for a large incentive.

 

 

How are you going to get a player stalker into a private game?

 

Answer: You can't. Hence, we do not completely scrap the AI stalker.

 

Player-controlled stalkers take care of online people and AI stalker takes care of private and solo players.

 

 

This idea is a daydream, sounds cool but implementation with out feeding the trolls strikes me as near impossible and the team has lots of other more important things to work on. (IMO)

 

 

The ability for Man to fly was a daydream too.

 

 

 

I think this about covers it. I'm going to update the main post with these edits at some point, and then post a link over in the other thread discussing this. I'd appreciate it if nobody else offered feedback here, and moved it over to the other thread.
