Renegade343
1. Can we make it with the chemicals available? 2. Will the new compound/molecule explode/oxidise other chemicals to such an extent it makes the other chemicals catch on fire/produce toxic fumes/corrode and dissolve inert materials/spontaneously catch on fire itself? If the answer to both questions is "yes", congratulations, here is your funding. But to be honest, those chemists must really have fun making all of the rather dangerous chemicals (such as attaching as much nitrogen atoms to a molecule as possible, and sometimes in a ring too [and for people not studying chemistry, nitrogen being stuffed in like that tends to make the molecules rather unstable.]). So in other words - get a free funding to make better explosives? Any better ideas? Edited March 11, 2015 by Vicious_D
Renegade343
So in other words - get a free funding to make better explosives? Any better ideas? Funding for making a chemical that would chew through concrete, steel, granite, plastic, and just about everything.

Renegade343
And get to the earth core, burn it and make ETERNAL WINTER AHAHAHAHAHAHA Actually, I retract that statement, for I remember one chemical that could do this, at least up to the mantle: Chlorine triflouride. Relatively simple chemical, one of the strongest oxidising agents up to now. Can ignite and burn: - Leather - Latex - Cotton - Concrete - Asphalt - Granite - Water (may also explode) Along with a lot of things.
