I personally think it would also make sense from a lore perspective as Dark Sector had a cover system. And no I don't think it would detract from all the parkour and flipping around (but it would help frames without invisibility powers) and I also don't think it would make the armor and health mods redundant either, I just think it would feel more complete as a third person shooter if it had its own cover system.
