Question About Game Locale And "reachable" Friends

Hello Tennos ;)

I recently managed to have 2 friends wanting to play warframe.

They both use french locale, and i do use english locale.

This morning, we tried to play together after adding each other to contact list. without success. One of them was online, but could not enter her games, second was despertly offline. and vice versa. but both friends could play together with no issue.

I then realised i was using english and both of them french.

I switched client to french, and could join them (even if one was still offline ... but seems it's a different bug)

 

More infos:

All 3 clients are set to western europe, network ports are correctly configured and network analysis returns "all systems nominal"

 

So, does warframe limit in some way your ability to play with others based on their client language?

Or did we just have some weird issue, solved misteriously with me switching language?
