Player-Stalker

Target-Players

Players can check or uncheck a box at the planet system screen.

The box is called “Face Unknown Enemies”.

If it is checked you are a Target-Player and other Player-Stalkers can hunt you down in a mission.

Following things are saved:

  • Your id
  • Current mission (can be null, when not in a mission)
  • Player that is currently hunting you (can be null)
  • Team Loadout: Determines the highest Capacity of your Loadout and the highest capacity of all other players in your game. It checks the Warframe, Primary, Secondary and Melee capacities and the highest one from you and the highest one from your team members are averaged.

On entering a mission all fields are updated.

On new player join Team Loadout is updated.

Player-Stalkers

There is a button “Go Trophy Hunting” at the planet system screen.

On clicking, it states it will cost 1 Orokin Chemical.

(Orokin Chemicals are dropped by Stalkers, Player-Stalkers and Target-Players)

Once you accepted the cost of an Orokin Chemical your highest Loadout is checked: Determines the highest Capacity of your Loadout. It checks the Warframe, Primary, Secondary and Melee capacities.

While you can continue playing it is searched for a match from all Target-Players:

  • Mission available to you?
  • No player currently hunting this guy?
  • Your Loadout >= Team Loadout?

Once a player is found a message appears: “Trophy Hunt!” or “Keep playing”.

On “Keep playing” the database search is cancelled and starts again after 5mins.

On “Tropy Hunt!” you leave your current mission and join the one from the Target-Player.

Mission

The Player-Stalker is completely invisible, invulnerable, can’t deal any damage and spawns at the extraction point.

On the bottom right corner there is a mission pop-up, which shows the Target-Player’s name.

The Map shows a waypoint to the Target-Player.

The Player-Stalker has to taunt the Target-Player 3 times by aiming at him and way-pointing him.

The Target-Player sees Stalker messages when he gets taunted, but with the picture of the Player-Stalker’s Warframe and Name.

On the third taunt the Player-Stalker becomes vulnerable, visible and can deal damage.
