[Waframe Concept] Svalinn The Shield/protector Warframe

The inspiration comes from the Mercurius gundam from gundam wing

Basically a gundam that utilizes small floating satellites that act as a shield that defends from any physical or projectile attacks. The gundam itself carries a shield with an integrated beam sword and a rifle for defence.

 

How can this be implemented into warframe? : Please note these are rough ideas and i trust DE will do the necessary changes or balancing to make it work.

Id like to see a frame that utilizes the floating satellite system (or Planet Defensors as its called) on the mercurius gundam on a warframe, he or she may also possess an actual shield and other floating miniature shields that can defend the frame on the move, stay stationary or reflect damage. The purpose of the frame is mostly defence with support mixed in.

(honesty i am bad with names, but i hope its name related to a castle or a shield)

 

Abilities: 

 

1)  Shield (for a lack of a better name)

 

Description : Summons a single (energy or physical) shield on the arm of the frame. Absorbs any front facing projectile or attacks. 

Effect: Like iron skin, the shield has HP points and is affected by power strength and efficiency 

Variant: Same as the original description however, Svalinn can cast a shield on allies, giving them added extra protection. 

 

2) Bulwark

Description: The frame will activate the shield satellite system and surrounds the frame, reflecting or absorbing damage while consuming energy (like Embers world on fire)

 

Effect: Affected by duration, power strength and efficiency. Has two modes of function that can be toggled by pressing the ability key again to either reflect or absorb damage. Absorbing damage deals damage to the satellites until destroyed, whereas reflecting will do increased energy consumption until timer is out or the frame is out of energy. If satellites are destroyed a short cooldown period will activate until another once can be casted.

Variants: 

1) During casting, any ranged projectile in its radius will be redirected to Svalinn, this ability will be affected by duration, strength, efficiency and range (attraction radius).

 

 

3. Battlement

Description: Utilizes the mobile shield system to create a stationary defensive wall, allowing the player and allies to take cover. 

 

Effect: Similar to Volt's electric shield however it does not allow players to shoot through it (this is to make volt's shield different), however unlike volt's electric shield Battlement will absorb explosive damage caused by explosives, and prevents enemies to go pass it (like an actual wall). Battlement will continue to stay until the end of duration or when the health points of Battlement reaches zero.

This is affected by power strength, duration and efficiency. Can summon a maximum of 4 battlements

Variant: Standing behind a Battlement will slowly recover player's Health and Shields until Battlement is destroyed or duration up. No modifiers will affect the recovery speed. 

 

4 (Ultimate). Sturm Panzer

Description: The mobile shield system goes into overdrive and activates the built in energy cannons in the satellites attacking enemies, and defends the frame from any attacks. Whilst raising threat/aggro level

 

Effect: Player will be impervious to damage and experiences first priority threat/aggro level from enemy mobs as long this is active, however each "damage" it takes increases its energy consumption. The satellites will "auto-aim" to each target dealing a set amount of damage, while reflecting damage as well. Ability will continue to function unless toggled off or until energy is used.

This is affected by power strength, and efficiency and range (how far the satellites will target, not fire)

Edit: As a balance, once the ability has been toggled off. All abilities are on cool down.
