Is Limbo Good? If So, What Role Does He Fit Into Well?

I have had Limbo for a good while and I must say I love him! Although I have had one issue? What role does he fit into. As well as other people telling me he is bad and others saying he is good.

People will tell you he is bad when he doesn't fit into his niche, which is very narrow. He's best known for pod defense or camping.

Limbo is the duelist. He can go 1 on 1 with any enemy he chooses at any time.

He executes high priority enemies.

Limbo protects the team, and gives them energy.

When no others can survive, Limbo just walks right through the enemies.

And yes, Limbo is good. In fact, he is amazing.

he's also a really good low level killer since his cataclysm can have ridiculous range and is not centered around the frame.

 

Here's my build:

intensify, R5

transient fortitude, R10

blind rage, R2

streamline, R5

fleeting expertise, R5 

overextended, R5

stretch, R5

natural talent, R5

 

the reason this works is because theres an initial damage which u can modify, a rift entry damage, and a rift departure damage which ends up doing around 800 impact damage and like 750 blast damage which is not bad considering its range. just throw it out and cancel it immediately.

Role:defending, strong power support (banishing power users results in perfect defense under max dps), singletarget assassin (banished enemys are pray to ground finishers)

He is pretty good but i wouldn't use him to defend with random groups. You can't shoot outside the bubble and loot is locked, banishing allys leaves them pretty confused if they don't count on it.

Limbo can be amazing but you need a group that knows whats up.
