Yeah, they actually fire, you may have missed it, they're that quiet. My proposal is twofold, and thus: 1. Make those damn cannons bloody excruciatingly loud. I want it to be a tile that's tough to deal with purely because of the thunderous roar of the cannons. You want to get in and out asap. Not a tile to hang around in. 2. Make every cannon blast co-incide with a 1 second, tile-wide, Silence proc, exactly like Banshees power. Applied to enemies (stagger effect, immune to noise alerts for the duration) and player frames (receive a sound attenuation for the duration). They don't fire all that often, so it wouldn't be a massive imposition or game breaker. Instant immersion. You're welcome. I daresay separating out the 2 parts of Banshee's silence ability (the silence and stagger) would be more work that just having the ability cast by a point on the environment.
