After verifying the cache and restarting the PC (I am on W7 still) I managet to get in and do the new movement tutorial and right after I got back to the ship the game crashed. And now the launcher crashes on start.
Reidmaster
Are any of you guys using Steam to run the launcher? I am having this issue when running the launcher through Steam, but if I manually run the launcher it runs just fine. (This was only after upgrading to Windows 10, didn't have a problem with the launcher/U17 until after upgrading.) Falconer88
If you are launching through steam stop. I have found the same issue as all of you through steam and doing what Reidmaster says in his above post, launching the launcher from the steamapps > common > warframe > tools folder lets the launcher run and you can play it, just won't be able to interact with steam until this issue is resolved. DrakoWerewolf
Didn't work. Still crashes after 5 min.
Stormcrown
I was able to resolve this issue by right clicking Warframe64.exe and Warframe.exe, as well as all of the applications in the tools folder and select administrator mode and Windows 8 compatibility. Anyone else finds this useful let us know!

Reidmaster
how exactly did u do that? i have the exact same problem and please explain very simple. im not the best in computer terms. :P WF *should* be working for Steam users now. If not just right click it in Steam and go to the Properties, from there go to Local Files and Browse the local files. Then go to Tools folder in the File Explorer window and run Launcher.exe (This *may* re-download the whole game though...) Vajax-Evo
If you have AVG, it deletes some files needed to run the game. Just remove AVG, and keep the vault.
