Same issue, when i try to launch the game, i instantly get " evolution engine has stopped working ".

When you use windows 10 :

Did you downloaded the amd/nvidia graphics driver for windows 10?

When not do it.

If that's the problem, i hope it'll get fixed soon, i don't wanna miss U17.

Getting the same problem. After I patched the game I click start and didnt even get to the log in screen I would get the crash. After verifying the cache and restarting the PC (I am on W7 still) I managet to get in and do the new movement tutorial and right after I got back to the ship the game crashed.

And now the launcher crashes on start.

Are any of you guys using Steam to run the launcher?

I am having this issue when running the launcher through Steam, but if I manually run the launcher it runs just fine. (This was only after upgrading to Windows 10, didn't have a problem with the launcher/U17 until after upgrading.)

If you are launching through steam stop.  I have found the same issue as all of you through steam and doing what Reidmaster says in his above post, launching the launcher from the steamapps > common > warframe > tools folder lets the launcher run and you can play it, just won't be able to interact with steam until this issue is resolved.

I was able to resolve this issue by right clicking Warframe64.exe and Warframe.exe, as well as all of the applications in the tools folder and select administrator mode and Windows 8 compatibility.

Anyone else finds this useful let us know!

WF *should* be working for Steam users now. If not just right click it in Steam and go to the Properties, from there go to Local Files and Browse the local files. Then go to Tools folder in the File Explorer window and run Launcher.exe (This *may* re-download the whole game though...)
