Summer = More Work = More Money.

[$550 budget]

I've decided to build my on PC. I went on reddit's pcmasterrace sub and someone reccommended this build for me. I want to try and order the parts before some of the deal's end but I need final revisions/thoughts. (if this one needs any).

I like this build that the guy showed me and, again, I'm really tempted to order them as quick as possible. If there's anything I need to know, feel free to leave a reply!

Get the fx-6300. I got one and its awesome.

Also will work better with an amd gpu.

AMD FX-6300 ~ $90, 6 cores, 3.5 GHz, best budget processor in existence. All I'm saying.

I had that in mind! I was checking around and saw it pop a bunch of times. Thanks for the recommendation!

Keep in mind also that you'll have to change the motherboard to an AMD one with a AM3+ socket.

There's some cheap ones that can do the job if you're not planning on overclocking too much ; )

Anyways, good luck!

The i5s are way better than those FX, if you can afford it then I highly recommend you buy that i5.

If you're getting a R9 380 buying an FX would be a bad choice.

fx6300 vs i5 3470(the 4460 is slightly better)

on a cpu bound game its 50% faster(Starcraft 2)

FX8350 vs i5 3470

still 50% faster in SC2
