Is There A Way To See How Many Are In A Clan Without Joining?

I think I'll need to join a clan with the way things are, but I don't want to join an inactive one. I feel like everyone would just promote their clan as great if I ask direct so I'd like to decide for myself.

 

To my knowledge I have to use my Clan Key even if I join someone else's clan, so I don't want to waste it. Any ideas?

I think theres no way to see it maybe u could ask the leader and he makes a photo ?

Meh, I don't know if it's worth the hassle, but I guess I'll have to ask around just to see if each clan has legs. Thanks for the reply.
