Yesterday I decided that I would objectively look at what's outdated for all of the warframes and try to come up with fixes.

 

And then, I did just that. Now I'm posting what I came up with in hopes for feedback.

 

Do you agree with my ideas/suggestions, do you want them in the game? Do you think its a load of crap?

 

Warning: huge wall of text.

 

 

Starting off with warframe mod changes:
 
New Riftwalk augment: Unstable Rift: enemies touched by Limbo while Riftwalk is active are banished for half of the normal banish duration.
 
-Sprint Boost renamed to Speed Boost, effect increased to 5% per rank, 20% at max.
 
-Rush, Armored agility and Speed boost now increase movement speed during all actions, as opposed to sprint/walking speed.
 
The following mods are now Exilus compatible: Natural Talent, Provoked, Quick Thinking, Rage, Rapid Ressilience, Reflection.
 
Weapon mod changes include:
 
-All weapons now come with an additional slot that is only usable for ammo/mag, punch through, recoil, reload speed, mutations and non-damaging special effect mods (such as Adhesive Blast). Any additional damaging effect of special mods is lost if they are placed in this slot. 
 
-Split Chamber now has 1.66666666667% more effect per rank, 100% at max.
 
-Critical delay, Critical Deceleration and Creeping Bullseye now have 10% critical chance effect per rank and decrease reload speed instead of decreasting fire rate at 5% per rank.
 
-Hammer shot now gives 0.25 punch through per rank instead of status chance.
 
Warframe changes mostly include ninja-ing things up for smoother gameplay and augment/scaling managing:
 
-Shuriken now natively reduces armor, Seeking Shuriken has been removed.
 
-Smoke Screen can be cast while moving and jumping and you can perform normal actions during the animation, the base radius of smoke screen's augment has been increased.
 
-Teleport has a faster animation.
 
-Sonic Boom can be cast while moving, jumping and performing other actions, it natively decreases enemy armor. Sonic Fracture has been removed.
 
-Sonar and Silence are now toggle abilities and energy drain while active. Resonance now has a base time and scales from duration.
 
-Elemental Ward, Effigy and Vex armor can all be cast while moving, etc. Spectral Scream now scales from primary weapon mods.
 
-Effigy no longer has health, it is invincible.
 
-Accelerant and World on Fire can now be cast while moving, etc. Accelerant now converts all elemental damage taken by enemies into fire damage.
 
-World on Fire is now a toggle that drains energy while active with unlimited duration.
 
-Ice Wave can now be cast while moving, etc.
 
-Tentacle Swarm and Tempest Barrage are now toggles with drain. Tempest Barrage now scales from secondary mods.
 
-Tidal surge distance now scales with range instead of duration.
 
-Enemies are stunned instead of drowned while effected by undertow.
 
-Banish now slows down effected enemies by 50% for a few seconds, unaffected by duration.
 
-Rift walk is now instantly cast and is a toggle, it drains energy for a short time after use before switching to recovering it as usual.
 
-Rift surge can now be cast while moving, etc.
 
-Decoy, Invisiblity and Radial disarm can now be cast while moving, etc. Radial disarm now has a different animation, you cannot use weapons while disarming.
 
-Decoy's health now scales with range and duration instead of power strength.
 
-Pull, Shield Polarize and Bullet Attractor can be cast while moving, etc. Bullet Attractor casts faster.
 
-Greedy pull now works with allies, but does not pull orbs to them.
 
-Shield Polaraze now the full effect of its augment, which is removed.
 
-Bullet Attractor now drains energy while cast on an enemy and can be disabled, has infinite duration.
 
-Crush now reduces armor, augment now only provides the stun.
 
-Ballistic Battery, Shooting Gallery, Shatter Shield now cast faster and be cast while moving, etc.
 
-Ballistic Battery now also has the effect of Ballistic Bullseye, augment removed.
 
-Shooting Gallery is now a toggle.
 
-Hall of Mirrors, Sleight of Hand, Eclipse and Prism can be cast while moving, etc. You cannot use weapons while Prism is being cast.
 
-Total Eclipse base range increased.
 
-Desecrate and Shadows of the Dead can be cast while moving, etc. You cannot use weapons while Shadows are being cast.
 
-Soul Punch now scales from melee mods, the soul projectile homes in on nearby enemies.
 
-Desecrate now casts faster.
 
-Shadows of the Dead can be recast for up to three seconds after ending to summon the same enemies again.
 
-Shadows now partially scale from your mods (depending on which weapon they use) and partially scale from enemy spawning levels.
 
-Null Star now has the full effect of Neutron Star, augment removed.
 
-Mind Control can now be cast while moving.
 
-Mind Control now has the full effect of Mind Freak, augment removed.
 
-Psychic Bolts now has the full effect of Pacifying Bolts, augment removed.
 
-Smite no longer procs radiation, instead increasing damage done to enemies, the bouncing projectiles have the same effect, only lesser.
 
-Hallowed ground can be cast while moving and casts much faster.
 
-Renewal now has a very short animation and can be cast while moving. Cooldown of Two seconds between uses/toggles.
 
-Reckoning now has increased range, but deals less damage.
 
-Smiting an enemy under the effects of Reckoning will remove all of their armor and deal heavy damage to their shields.
 
-Rhino Charge is now called Charge, scales from range instead of duration and comes with the effects of Ironclad Charge, augment removed.
 
-Roar now has the effects of Piercing Roar, augment removed.
 
-Rhino Stomp is now called Stomp, can be cast while jumping, caushing Rhino to drop and slam the ground with his fist for the same effect.
 
-Venom and Contagion can now be cast while moving, etc.
 
-Venom now always procs viral on the initial target.
 
-Saryn now goes invisible for a quarter of Molt's duration upon cast.
 
-Contagion is now a toggle that drains energy, causes all weapons to gain bonus damage, with primary and secondary recieving a smaller bonus than melee.
 
-All of Trinity's abilities can be cast while moving, etc.
 
-Link now comes with the effect of Abating Link, augment removed.
 
-All of Valkyr's abilities can be cast while moving, you can only use weapons while casting Rip Line.
 
-Rip Line casts much, much faster and travels faster in the air. Now scales from melee mods.
 
-Paralysis now comes with the effects of Prolonged Paralysis, augment removed.
 
-Vauban no longer throw balls, instead firing them out of an attachment on his hand.
 
-Tesla now scales with primary mods.
 
-Bounce has been removed and replaced with Turret: ball slowly turns into an immobile Tenno turret, working like a Rampart but firing more powerful shots at a slower rate. Scales with primary mods.
 
-Bastille now comes with the effects of Repelling Bastille, augment removed.
 
-Vortex now comes with the effects of Perpetual Vortex, the range of Perpetual Vortex interaction has been increased, augment removed.
 
-Shock arc range increased.
 
-Speed now comes with the effects of Shocking Speed, range is increased, augment removed.
 
-Overload no longer has a cast animation, on cast, Volt unleashes overload at his current location. 
 
-Overload has a three second cooldown between uses.
 
-Enemies damaged by overload will take slightly more elemental damage from all sources.
 
-Enemies killed by overload now spread a damaging and stunning arc to nearby enemies.
 
-Tail Wind now always works like you're in the air, damage scales with melee mods. 
 
-Tail wind now scales with everything, can be recast to stop tail wind before it ends.
 
-Tail wind now knocks any enemies you pass through down.
 
-Divebomb now has the effects of Divebomb Vortex, augment removed. Now scales with Melee mods and increases Zephyr's damage to all enemies hit. Zephyr no longer has to recover from Divebomb.
 
-Turbulence now has no cast animation and is instant. Jet Stream now applies itself to nearby players for the full duration, much like speed. Base range of Jet Stream increased.
 
-Tornadoes now home in on enemies.
 
-All removed augments have been refunded in the form of medallions

The mod changes just read like "x doesn't work with my build, so change it that it does".

The warframe changes are just: cast while moving, buff everything.

 

You do realize that I am not the only one who plays Warframe, right? Ask around and see how many people use those mods.

 

You do realize that every single change listed has reasoning?

 

I don't understand how you can be so offensive with your post.
