KamaNightfire
Hello everyone. Electrical mods tend to stun Corpus for a second as it's main use, but that alone does not make it worth using, ice decreases shields and slows and fire damages as a separate number + more damage against infected, both of those I consider worth using on all weapons. Ice for melee weaponry allows for more hits on slowed targets and to knock-down tough shields , or slow targets on single-fire weapons so you can more easily get in that headshot. Fire helps with stacking more damage on weaponry and to cause some opponents to try to put themselves out, having them stand there for at least 2-3 seconds. Electrical damage on the other hand only does one thing, and that's stun corpus, and for a very short amount of time, even against MOAS they still can fire at you while under the effects. In my honest opinion I figured electrical damage would be the one to lower shields , ice of course would slow targets, and fire does what it does. Currently Electrical mods are useless compared to every other elemental mod out there, and if DE ever introduces poison mods, it will be replaced by that on most weaponry slots. Hayden11121
Electricity does to Corpus what fire does to Infested. Thread = Invalid
Feldgrep
Electricity is to corpus, as AP is to grineer, as for is to infested. Thread = Invalid Edited May 26, 2013 by Feldgrep
Flamed
To be honest, I don't even notice the effects of the electricity. Most corpus enemies die pretty fast.
Zeddypanda
Electricity is better than fire against everything but infested. Fire does no damage over time (if it does, it's not noticable) and it does no crowd control (iif it does, it's not apparent). Shock, on the other hand, stuns everything and does great damage against Corpus.
TheHeraldXII
It's not bad on most weapons, it's good against Corpus, less good against Infested (fire is the reverse) and the same as fire against Grineer. On melee weapons however, the fire mod is 3 times as effective base so, using 1 as the damage of electricity (5%per rank), 2 for ice (10% per rank) and 3 as the damage of fire (15% per rank), we can use the enemy specific damage multipliers to determine what's better. Vs Corpus Electricity=1.6, Fire=1.2, Ice=1.6 Vs Grineer Electricity=0.41, Fire=1.23, Ice=0.66 Vs Infested Electricity=0.4, Fire=4.8, Ice=1.5 As you can see, the melee electrical damage mod is currently pretty poor in comparison to fire, and awful in comparison to ice. Keep electrical mods the same but oh sweet jeebus, buff it on melee.
Nuntium
It is really expensive though.
Whackhat
agree with the buff on the melee mod, 6 points for 5% dmg is a little much. Points should be lower or damage raised to 10-15%. Electricity can be useful against corpus, mostly for the higher damage, especially when the mod hits 75%+ elemental damage.
