Endless Defense: Not Getting Items After 10Th Wave After Dying

My run was on Xini. After I got to the 10th wave, I finally got the last piece to my banshee, the chassis, (wave 10 reward) but I wanted to try my luck for wave 15. Turns out I died pretty quickly after the 10th wave, and the pod died. I figured I'd still get my mods and wave rewards because they are supposed to be "locked in" every 5 waves.

 

Turns out I didn't get anything when I came back to the menu.

 

Anyone else experience this? It's not fun to lose what you've been grinding for days for.

You dont get the waves prize unless you pull out, if you continue, even if you reach wave 15, you wouldnt get that banshee chassis...

I remember the update notes and wiki saying that all items you got up until the wave 5 or 10 or whatever, you'll keep, regardless of losing. You'll just lose what you got in between 1-5, 5-10, etc.

 

Am I not understanding this correctly or so? Sorry, I'm pretty confused.

Yes, but the prize that appears at the end of each 5 waves is a bonus prize, meaning that if you dont accept it to leave the mission, you dont get it at all...
