[Guide] Deception Leveling / Stealth Kill Affinity Farming

Question

This short guide will show you how to get tons of exp in 15-25 minutes, while not doing Draco, void Defense etc. etc.

Mainly an alternative method that is simple to do for solo players without needing a premade group, and not sitting on a defense / interception mission but requires some fairly active gameplay. If done right, it will net you an excess of 1 mil exp (affinity) in about ~20 minutes.

What this works for :

a) Warframe levelling (0-30 in ~25 minutes)

b) Daily Syndicate rep farming

The mission / tileset : Deception (Grineer Galleon) preferably low level ones (<10) Mercury- Verdi is a good spot

What you will need :

1. High range melee weapon ( Whips / Galatine / Orthos Prime etc. )

2. Enemy Radar / Enemy Sense / Animal Instinct (for detection of mobs)

3. Movement speed mods (optional, but recommended as you will be running alot)

4. Scanner / Synthesis scanner (optional, usually as backup for enemy movements or Simaris rep scanning)

What to do :

1. You will mainly be doing stealth kills for the length of the mission, since the stealth experience bonuses are extremely high, so we will be using that to our advantage. Should you choose to finish the mission objective first, it will not affect the spawns, so go ahead.

Spin attacks are recommended since they cover the largest area and deals decent damage. Coupled with the stealth damage multiplier, most mobs will just die outright regardless of melee weapon (Heavy units may survive, but only on high levels >20 ).

2. Spawn points / running paths :

There are 3 major spawning points, with 2-3 minor spawning points. You will need to run to each specific spot to trigger the spawns, and kill them accordingly.

Red : Major spawn points (>8 mobs)

Green : Minor spawn points (2-4 mobs)

Orange : Major spawn point, but spawns somewhat infrequently

To get spawns to trigger you need to move about specific points around the map, which is shown below :

Trigger 1 : Major spawn trigger, you will pass through here frequently. Triggers Major point 1 and 2 spawns.

Trigger 2 / 3 : Uncommon spawn trigger usually for Major Spawn point 3 / Uncommon Spawn point (Orange)

Movement tips (will not cover all spawn points) :

Major spawn point 1 :

Very straightforward, just jump down and do a spin attack. Alternatively, you can also move from behind :

Major spawn point 2 :

While the glass appear to be transparent, for the game it is a solid wall. So the mobs will not notice you. Do a spin attack and you should get them all.

Mobs will usually face the other side so you can backstab them very easily. After this, you can move along the sides which leads to Trigger 1 :

Spawn trigger point(s) :

This is the usual spawn trigger point, which triggers most of the major spawns. Pass through here frequently once you cleared the old spawns (new ones will not appear, since there is a spawn limit).

3. Run around the triggers, kill spawns. Rinse and repeat until desired experience is obtained. It's that simple.

Things to look out for :

1. While the experience gained is extremely lucrative, do keep in mind that once you are discovered, it will take a bit for mobs to settle down again. A single shot fired (either by you or the mobs) and you will have to clear the room of all mobs that are aware of your presence before you can get stealth kill bonuses again.

2. Shield Lancers are the only mobs not vulnerable from a frontal attack, and will mostly ruin your day by firing their Vipers at you. So keep and eye out for them. As a general rule of thumb, always attack from the side / back of mobs. But if you have to take a risk, a frontal attack then sliding to the Lancer's back will also do the trick.

FAQ :

Is Invisibility required ?

Not at all. While Invisibility does help out a great deal, you can generally do this without enemies ever discovering you should you be careful. Which is the reason why this method can be used to level up Warframes effectively and not just gaining Syndicate reps.

Why not do high level missions ?

Mainly because you want to kill the mobs in one hit, low level missions are generally safer (experience gain is still very high). But if you have a strong enough melee weapon, level 20~23 missions give the best exp-to-level ratio while being generally doable.

Do I have to move in any particular order to trigger spawns ?

Nope, any trigger will do as long as you clear the previous spawns.

Fun fact about Grineer :

Perhaps due to the low quality of the cloning process, Grineer marines tend to only see infront of them horizontally in a very small cone, and have terrible vertical awareness. So if you're just on top of them, say the stairs (even just a few steps above / below ) they will not notice you. This is also the same with their peripheral vision. So use that to your advantage.
