Stalker Died And Then Killed Me

What the title says.

 

Stalker showed up. I killed Stalker. Stalker drops loot. I grab loot. Stalker's dead body proceeds to use abilities, and then kill me. I thought the game was glitching, and so I didn't fight back - after all, I already killed him and took his loot. But then I take damage. I die. What.

 

I revive. I finish mission. I end mission. I have Stalker's loot.

 

This seems like a bug to me.

it might be related to the fact that you actually killed him, which isn't supposed to happen in the first place.

Darthmufin, the Stalker played his 'defeated' message, played his 'defeated' animation, dropped loot, and was fading out. I picked up the loot, and then got switched and pulled. Then, the Stalker's fading, kneeling form slid up to me, and I started taking damage. After I died, the Stalker played his 'victory' message.

Something similar happened to me. Isin't it related to his absorb ability, though?

The Stalker may sometimes cast Absorb as soon as he is defeated. This will cause him to immediately disappear right as he finishes the ability. (The damage from Absorb will still trigger).

This happened with mee rhis week after he died I saw some explosion tipe animation and I died just after him, still get the ultra rare Molten Impact...
