So This Is The True Look Of All Tennos Without Their Warframe

However it _has_ been stated that the first Tenno's name was "Hayden Tenno" this person may share some attributes with the DS Hayden and/or some with the Hayden written for the unreleased sci-fi version of DS or he may be a completely new character for Warframe's history sharing the name only.

Even that has been treated as a candid joke. Its not literal. At best the Warframes have the name Hayden Tenno written on them in Tenno language, as a little reference, nothing will come of it.

Um I think devstream 10 is pretty explicit:

Steve: Hayden Tenno was in Dark Sector, is that the original Warframe.
Geoff: I think he's the O.G.
Steve: We all worked on Dark Sector, so we can all answer this question
Geoff: Yeah, he's the O.G. (Original Gansta)
Sheldon: That sounds like a resounding Yes.
Steve: Yes Absolutely,
Steve: Warframe takes place waaaaay beyond that timeframe, ridiculously. If you can imagine what something like that, that integrates itself with the body or counld be repurposed as technology, this idea of, of metal, that is, also. alive and changeable and so on, and the way it chanels energy
Geoff: I'm getting deja vu from, like the sequel talk
Steve: When we talked about a sequel ages ago we talked about taking a big leap forward in time and saying: what are the societal repercussions of this idea, vs "and then he just woke up the next day, what did he do"
Geoff: The infested could also be tied back
Steve: Absolutely yeah, there are connections. For the people who've played Dark Sector who like it and, y'know, yes. The answer to most of your questions is there is absolutely a relation, because we tried to make a hard-core sci-fi game and couldn't get it published and we toned it all down and set it on earth and made it a CIA agent and all these other compromises but a lot of those ideas that kinda leaked in are now what we're going back to. We're going back to the well (heh), and that's pure essence of bizarre awesome warframe-ness... no, Hayden is not the Stalker

Every Devstream that brings it up since is quite emphatic about it not being connected.

Connected but not canonical.

Dark Sector is the game they made when a publisher wouldn't green-light the idea that, many years later, became Warframe so they have a common ancestor but are not in the same universe.

It's been linked to many times but this is what "Dark Sector" was supposed to be:

This is what ended up getting published:

Which do you think Warframe takes more from?
