Is There A Warframe Good For Sniping?

I recently bought the new sniper and was wondering if there was any waframe better than others for sniping.

Maybe a mobile one like Loki to get to higher advantage points.

Loki or Nyx works pretty well. You distract enemies with Decoy or Mind Control and then pop off heads from safe distance.

I got 3 suggestions off the bat, but there are probably more Warframes suitable:

Banshee: knockback if enemies get too close, sonar to see weakspots and 1 shot stuff, ult for aoe in "oh F___" situations.

 

Volt: He fast, so he can get to safe distance quick, aoe nuke ult and a shield to protect you from fire while you shoot.

Loki: Fast, elusive, can disarm. But you really need to be a fast thinker to get the optimal out of him in parties.

I personally would prefer Banshee for the sniper role.

Other options are Excalibur or Vauban, use their Super Jump and Bounce skills respectively to get to sniping vantage points.

i use Mag or Volt since i rarely use their abilities outside of the AOE one.

So they become frames that depend highly on their weapon.

Banshee could be the best since her sonar put up weak points so you dont have to just look for head shots.

Loki IMO is the best sniper.

 

Decoy = Baddies aren't shooting at you

I often place Decoy in the right side of a door frame and use the left side as partial cover. Works like a charm.

 

Invisibility = You can choose your battlefield

 

Decoy + Switch Teleport = You can get to a few places other Frames can't

 

Radial Disarm + Decoy = All the Baddies in one place

Take all their guns away and all the previously ranged Baddies will flock to your Decoy to melee it.
