is it better to buy prime access/platinum through steam or through the website?

i would think it would be better to buy it through the store because the money actually goes to warframe,through steam you buy fake money from steam and are spending that, i guess my question is " is it more helpful to [DE] for players to buy platinum through steam or through the website?

well you can buy it through the website, i mean you could buy prime access before warframe was even on steam

It doesn't matter where you buy it from, but preferences as they allow multiple options.
