(XBOX)Grihaly
On the powerstrip If that made all the lights go out, that apartment will probably burn down one of these days.
(PSN)Pharen
On the powerstrip That somehow shut all the lights off in your apartment? ^ This, the circuit to your power points should not be connected in any way to the lighting. It should have simply tripped the power point circuit breaker. Unless the place you live is very old, that's some dodgy wiring. You should be able to go to the power sub board and just flip the circuit breaker back on. If it's fuses, you'll need to get a replacement. The "power strip" (we call it a powerboard, or multibox), will likely need to replaced too since it was tripped by a liquid which likely would have broken any surge protection it had. The PC should be fine as long as it has a decent PSU, most have inbuilt surge protection. Edited October 17, 2015 by (PS4)Pharen
