Looking For Mesa Builds

Question

So, since Mesa's Peacemaker has been reworked, and the effects of Duration/Efficiency changed for continuous abilities, my builds need a serious rework.

 

I used to have a Peacemaker-focused build, though my favourite was a hybrid one that allowed me to retain good Strength values and ideal Duration (~100-103%), while sacrificing Range. Very useful for mobile Mesa users, maybe not so much for turret-style players as it didn't achieve the maximum Strength value.

 

Everything is quite different now, so I need new builds. I guess mobile builds are not a thing anymore, especially since Peacemaker-gliding is not a thing anymore, but I will still accept hybrid builds as well as more specialised ones.

I personally dont use peacemaker most of the time so my build is only focused on the 2nd and 3rd abilities 

 

I will create one in WF builder and edit this comment 

 

here you go : ( This is a maxed build, costs 5 forma. you might not want to change the aura / put an exilus mod, or maybe your mods aren't yet maxed so it might cost less forma than this ) ( Trans Fort. is just there to increase the damage bonus from shooting gallery a little bit more, not for shatter shield. you can reach the max damage reduction from shatter shield with just a rank 3 intensify )

Since the update comes out today on consoles and sadly im at work and cant test it yet i can't really say if this build will help peacemaker but it's basically

Energy siphon

Intensify

Primed continuity

Vitality

Narrow minded

Stretch (for shooting gallery and for NM's malus)

Rage

Streamline

Flow

And handspring on exilus

Its an all around build since i only use peacemaker to quickly kill the trash mob and clear an area, so the scope shouldn't decrese super fast with stretch.

Wanted to add that this build managed to make me reach the 1 hour and 40 minutes mark on t4 survival, yes peacemaker was barely doing any damage but the cc shooting gallery was providing was helpful especially when reviving teammates

I can't check now.But from what I remember,my build was like this (not sure about it):

Energy siphon

Fleeting expertise

Streamline

Narrow minded

Transient fortitude

Intensify

Constitution

Not the best build but does its job for me.

 

the PC has the reworked Mesa... so he'll need a build with their rework in it!

I've been off for a couple of weeks and honestly don't know what exactly got changed.

However I've got a feeling that after all duration and efficiency seem to be the most important things to focus on, since imho the damage is good enough to keep the bad guys away anyways.

Correct me if I'm wrong. I just feel that this config still rocks it like a hurricane.

 

I can still keep the peacemaker up for a pretty decent amount of time. To fix the range issue replacing continuity with stretch seems to work pretty well so far

Just tried your first suggestion, no_stripes, except for Corrosive Projection (I don't have that tbh) and yeah, it feels pretty good.

I'm just missing alot of duration. But it deals a pretty high damage. I like that

Before I forget.. there's a reason that I think duration is still pretty damn important. It's because someone might not be a pro at aiming and since we actually have to kinda aim now, mesa might appears to be a bit slower than before :)

I also like to add that Efficiency seems to be no longer capped at 175% for toggled abilities. It still wont go any higher than that in the Mods screen, but i.e. if you were to switch a maxed streamline for a 2/5-one in my above posted peacemaker build, it would still show 175% efficiency, yet the energy per second cost would go from 3,75 to 5,56. Not sure if this is intended or not.
