Ideas As Good As Bacon

Well, maybe not. I let you decide. Here's bunch of ideas I have come up.

1. ENEMIES

Right now I'm feeling like god in middle of AI. Only enemies that I have feared are Heavy Gunners and Ancient Disruptors when I started, but now they have lost their shine. So, here's some ideas how to make Warframe little more challenging:

1.1 Grineer Stalkers. Similar to scorpions, but they can cloak, and do ground finisher. These will appear on high difficult mission with 3-4 players. They target players, that are left behind, striking fast and disappearing.

There should be 1 or more rooms between you and your teammates before these stalkers attack.

1.2 Grineer Ambusher. Reverse version of stalkers, targeting players running ahead. These with Grineer Stalkers will force players to stay together, since they attack only one player at time. They will pose little threat to group, and with other enemies they are pretty much like normal scorpions.

Grineer Stalkers and Ambushers works in groups of 4.

1.3 Mini-Bosses. Rare enemies with difficulty something between heavy units and bosses. Rather having higher damage than being bullet sponges. Here's some ideas:

1.4 Grineer beasts: Rhino-like(not the warframe) beasts, tamed by grineers to use as weapons. Very aggressive creatures, that will charge fast and hard, knocking down any tenno and grineer alike on it's path. Living on desert(+fire resistance, -ice resistance) and being tamed with electric batons(+electric resistance) has made them tough and immune to stagger and stun.

1.5 Grineer Dropship. Small transportation ships, perhaps helicopters, that will drop 6 normal grineers and 1 commander. Will be encountered in planets, like corpus ice planets, if grineers are attacking there, or upcoming grineer world. Mounted with machinegun(maybe rocket launchers). It has decent armor, but can be quickly destroyed by killing pilot.

1.6 Corpus Armadillo. Heavily armored four legged robot, armed with 4 machine guns on each of it's sides. It's head will be on top with Fusion MOA's Laser beam. It's armor is made of recently discovered metal, that resists temperature chances, but leads electricity well. Can be encountered in any corpus place, and is about the same size as Hyena

2. FACTIONS

2.1 Grineer Outcast. Long time ago some grineers got tired of grineers' tyranny and rebelled. They were heavily outnumbered and forced to leave and hide to unknown planet. Now grineers have got clue about outcast's hideout. Outcast grineers, who would just want to live in peace, are now once more forced to fight their own kind.

Neutral faction towards tenno, only seen rarely doing stealth mission on grineers' ships. These random encounters could do your mission easier by killing grineers on they way, or harder by destroying ships reactor core while you are rescuing hostage.

3. MODS

Mods with multiple effects, both positive and negative, offering more customisation and specialisation.

3.1 Shield power user(needs better name). 8%(40%) max shield, 50%(300%) shield recharge delay. Max rank 5. Bypasses shield power usage safety limits allowing more power to be directed to maintain shield. This will greatly increase the amount of punishment shield can take before depleting, but shield will have less energy to start recharging itself.

This mod increases max shield rather than warframe's original shield the way redirection does. It stacks with redirection, making it good combination with redirection and retribution. For those, who wants to tank with shield without minding using couple of shield restores.

3.2 Shield power saver. Reverse effect to Shield power user. -4%(-24%) max shield, -15%(90%) shield recharge delay. Max rank 5. Almost immediate shield recharge when using with Fast Deflection. For those who move quickly in and out of battle.

3.3 Heavy armor. 15(90) armor, -2%(-12%) sprint speed. Max rank 5. Stacks with Steel Fiber, though if my calculations are correct, it will only increase damage resistance from 75% to 80% when using on Rhino/Frost with max Steel Fiber. So this would be mod for players, who want some armor for warframes like Ember, Nyx, Trinity and Banshee, or for players, that just want to tank even better.

3.4 What is with this mods for same weapon having different element damage amount/mod point cost.

Rifles/Shotguns: Cryo rounds/Chilling Grasp: 15% damage, cost 4

                           Hellfire/Incendiary coat: 15% damage, cost 6

                           Stormbringer/Charged Shell: 15% damage, cost 6

Pistol: Deep Freeze: 10% damage, cost 4

Heated Charge: 15% damage, cost 6

           Convulsion: 15% damage, cost 6

Melee: North Wind: 10% damage, cost 6

Molten Impact: 15% damage, cost 6

Shocking Touch: 5% damage, cost 6

Shocking touch increases damage 30% at rank 5, when Molten Impact increases it 90%. Both cost then 11 mod points. This needs to be fixed. If not by changing damage, lower mod point costs of weaker elements like in pistol's Deep Freeze.

3.5 These new mods, Lightning Rod, Flame Repellent etc., seriously needs to be changed. Lightning Rod increases your electric resistance by 2% per rank, at the cost of 4 mod points. 12% for 9 points at rank 5. I myself wouldn't use this even if it gives 12%(72%) electric resistance per rank. But now it's as useful as maxed Steel fiber on Ember.

4. COMBAT MANOUVERS

4.1 Grineer wall run. Sprint towards grineer, that is facing you, and on melee distance jump. This would start animation: Left foot on grineer's chest, right foot kicking grineer's jaw, ending with backflip. Causes small blunt damage and knockdown. And if you are fast enough, you can end this combo with jump attack.

4.2 Grineer surf board. Sprint towards grineer, whose back is towards you, and on melee distance jump. This would start animation: You jump on enemy's back, causing him/her to fall. After that, you stand on his/her back while (s)he is sliding face down on the ground. This will cause blunt damage depending how far you "surfed". Distance you "surf" is similar to when normally sliding. This combo will do great damage, but leaves you vulnerable.

I don't know how useful these moves will be, but they definitely will be cool.

5. SPECIAL ALERT MISSIONS

These require special skills, so it should be informed before accepting these missions

5.1 Grineer special raid missions. Lotus informs you, that there is grineer ship about to crash into a planet. Aboard to that ship is valuable orokin artifact you need to loot. These are stealth missions, as once discovered, grineers will rather destroy the artifact than let you have it. Once entering this mission, time will start running. Ship will be dark place, since ship is putting as much energy it can to slow down the crash and supporting life. Only light will come from flames, flashlights and windows. Grineers won't be patrolling, but just hanging around waiting assumable death. If you get seen, grineers will throw themselves at you when 1 alerts others. Soon after that, 1 grineer will grap the artifact and take it to their "dumpster"(grineers will probably have some sort of place where they put their trash and space them). This would cause your mission to fail and why stealth is so important in these missions.

So, here are my ideas. Sorry if there are wrong choices of words, or otherwise I've put them little weird, as I'm not good at these.

I like all these except mod 3.3 Heavy Armour.

Armor imo is an almost useless stat in the game. It only comes into play when your have no shields and thus everyone runs as high a Redirection as possible and no Vitality or Steel Fiber mods. It quite frankly does not matter what your armour is when you have 800+ shields.
